WE ARE LOOKING FOR
A Full Stack PHP/WordPress developer, you will be a critical part of the growth and success of Pangian and responsible for all aspects of site development including, front-end, back-end, user interface, user experience, database management, WordPress security, site optimization, APIs integration, API development, theme development and customization, plugin development and customization, and other related activities.
We are seeking a self-starter, problem solver, Full Stack WordPress Web Developer with a good eye for design to help us take our website to the next level (Ideally, you had worked for startups before).
This is an incredible role for someone who wants to take on a lot of ownership, experience exponential personal and professional growth every month, and work with talented people who love what they do.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, maintain, and protect our WordPress website
- Develop & customize WordPress themes, plugins, and APIs
- Work on customization of core PHP code through child theme.
- Work on WordPress databases and creation of APIs
- Work on WordPress site security

- Good with WordPress security
- Good with RDBMS and web development
- Good with APIs, themes, and plugins
- A problem-solver, self-learner, and a self-starter
- An outstanding researcher with great analytical skills
- Creative with a good eye for design (Nice to have)
- Organized and Detail Oriented
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in PHP/WordPress Full Stack Development
- Proven experience with front-end WordPress development: HTML5, CSS, JS, Gutenberg, user interface
- Proven experience with back-end PHP/WordPress development: PHP, MySQL, Apache, Linux Server, GitHub, APIs, Babel, WordPress CLI
- Proven experience as a Full-stack developer (WP 6.0+ & PHP 8.0) and love it
- WordPress Theme development and customization
- WordPress Plugins development and customization
- Professional Level English (Verbally and Written)
